Winter scenery I made with the kids.
Purchased the trees from Aldi. Painted them with a bit of glitter glue to make them look wintery (and girly). . -

Drying out some home made flock for the forest mat I 'm planning. Green Tea and ground coffee. I could just use the stuff straight, but my Scroogie Jewish DNA tells me I have to drink it before I can use it.

Doesn't show well in the photo, but this test patch turned out pretty well. Very flexible. Nothing falls off it. Colours blend well from green tea into coffee. May be ready to get this forest mat done on the weekend if the weather is good. . -

What you can't see in this photo is my wife in the background filling out divorce papers because I'm doing my stupid DnD craft all over our freshly cleaned floor...
So this dark forest mat is coming alo g pretty good. Once it's dry I'll seal it with so.e watered down PVA and it should be right to go! . -

So this is an experiment with the pVA left over from the forest mat project. I stuck layers of toilet paper to these mini jelly molds. I'm hoping to make cool Tusken Raider - orc tents. One is with the t paper stuck on the inside of the mold, the other outside. We'll see how it goes .... . -

I wasn't 100% happy with the forest floor so I gave it a new coat of PVA and more flock. Looks a little better now. A little worried about it being too stiff now with the 2nd layer of glue. We'll see.

YES or NO?!?!.!
Saw this at IKEA. Rotating lazy suzan. Thought it could be great for DnD? Would stips on it's surface are even the right width for velievable DnD floorboards. If a single person says "yes" I'm getting it! . -

Forest terrain is coming along. Just need to finish off the rocky scenery and flock the bases to match the mat . . -
