So I found this in the crafting section in Bunnings:
Been using hot glue to stick egg carton squares onto each panel. Also sticking squares onto this round pice of ply I found at a $1 store. . -

The packs came with a pair of wooden blocks that I'm turning into pillars. Strips of egg carton for its groovy stone like texture.

I just grabbed this from Bunnings.
It's 5 inches in diameter. With a 5ft base in the centre it could be used to help folks visualise a 10ft radius. Staying within the 10ft range of a paladin's aura of courage could help evade the pant shitting impact of a dragon's frightful presence ability... .... and set things up nicely for a breath attack. . -

So I've decided to make a mat based on Wuthering Heights.
From the phtos I've seen of the place it looks like nice landscape - very generic. And I like the different shades of grass - bright green to dryer looking golden colour. Thought it may make a neat crafty challenge. . -

Spread the filler across the drop cloth. A little sand mixed in but i don't think I'll bother with sand next time. Looking okay so far. 2nd layer of filler was mixed with different coloured paints. Flocked it with different colours of home made flock. Waiting for the dry brush to finish it off.I'm hoping the dry brush will bring out the colours I'm going for... . -

Making rocky outcrops for Wuthering Heights terrain. Tore up foam mats and stuck together with hot glue. Used different colours hoping that they would show through a little once painted. Foamreally drinks in the paint and usually requires a few coats to eliminate it's original colour, but for this I figured I'd roll with it. After a darker undercoat and a dry brush I think they turned out okay. - . -

made so.e road sections from rubber mat, gap filler sprinkled with sand. Turned out okay. Will probably give it another dry brush to lighten it up a bit.
An innocent kill-droid is unaware of the deadly ambush ahead of him. The lethal pony brigands are about to claim the life of another victim. . -

Can you make a 5e monster stat block for the lethal pony brigands? I hope they shoot rainbow prismatic sprays out of their eyes and poisonous gas clouds out of their butts!
They hang out behind public toilets smoking cigarettes, playing with switchblade knives, taking lunch money from the nerds! the scenery looks great! |
